About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving accelerated revenue growth across our established customer base. You will work closely with our broker partners to execute our growth pillars and develop strategic plans to achieve our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elevate Customer Engagement & Influence: Develop and execute strategies to elevate our engagement and influence with select strategic customers, in close partnership with our brokers.
  • Collaborative Broker Partnership: Provide clear guidance and strategic direction to execute our growth pillars with our Broker partners sales teams.
  • Trade & Revenue Management: Lead key facets of Canada sales trade and revenue forecasting, including developing enhanced revenue and trade spend forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation of Canadian retailer landscape and competitive environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver strong presentations.
  • Selling skills, ability to prepare and organize a team in a complex environment motivate both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sales forecasting and analysis experience in a complex customer environment.
  • Effectively utilizes sales tools, such as trade management and revenue forecasting programs.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and develop recommendations/solutions.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills and the Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional partners at various levels and thrive within a dynamic environment.
  • Strong business insight is a requirement, proven understanding of Manufacturer and Retailer profitability.
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Results-oriented individual with strong business acumen.
  • Very collaborative and works with and through others to achieve common goals and desired results.
  • Must have strong expertise working with customer POS data and syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link, LDIA, etc).
  • Expertise using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of CPG experience in Sales & Trade Marketing.
  • Top 4 Canadian retailer exposure (LCL, Walmart, Sobeys, Metro).
  • Broker management experience.
  • Accelerated growth environment, food industry, and natural products experience strongly preferred.
