Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to manage and enhance our office operations at Lakeland Animal Care Group. This role is crucial in ensuring that our administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Employment Details

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and refine administrative processes to improve efficiency
  • Assign tasks to office support personnel
  • Set work priorities and ensure adherence to procedures and deadlines
  • Conduct administrative functions of the organization
  • Manage policies and procedures regarding record releases in compliance with government access to information and privacy laws
  • Assist in developing the operational budget and maintain financial controls
  • Compile data and generate regular and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry tasks
  • Provide training to staff members
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative functions
  • Manage payroll processes
  • Plan and monitor budget and expenditures
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in electronic mail and scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with MS Project, QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with MS Windows
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have own transportation and vehicle
