Shift Leader - Ottawa - Retail Experience

At Accoravillage, we're redefining cannabis retail with a lifestyle brand that's all about exceptional service and welcoming store environments. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering a consistently high customer service level, managing cash, and ensuring our stores are always looking their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff during assigned shifts and maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards.
  • Act as a knowledge resource for team members and provide education on company standards.
  • Escalate employee issues and customer complaints to store managers for resolution.
  • Assist with team member onboarding, training, and continuous education.
  • Implement sales strategies and motivate the sales team to achieve goals/targets.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in the retail industry.
  • Provincial Cannabis Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Manual dexterity required to use a desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
