Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Respiratory Centre Inc. as a key member of our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate oxygen therapy, CPAP therapy, and assess respiratory health on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide education and instruction to patients on their condition and prescribed therapy.
  • Obtain informed consent from patients to initiate therapy.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety and infection control policies and protocols.
  • Contribute to the growth of Northern Respiratory Centre Inc. by liaising with medical professionals and providing demonstrations/education of products and services to prospective clients and referral sources.
  • Provide on-call services for oxygen clients in rotation with other staff members.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with current registration in good standing with their college.
  • Proof of License to practice with the provincial governing body (CRTO, CNO).
  • Proof of a valid Driver's License.
  • Previous Customer Service experience is an asset with a minimum of 1+ years related healthcare experience.
  • Fluency in English required (reading, writing, and oral), bilingualism is considered an asset.
  • Current Basic Rescuer CPR and First Aid Training is considered an asset.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, or similar accounting software & experience with CRM/EMR system.
