Northern Respiratory Centre Inc. is a locally owned and operated business that has been providing support and education in the field of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Home Oxygen Therapy in the North Bay area since 2001.

We are a company that cares passionately about our clients and communities, and we are seeking a talented and like-minded Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team.

As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will work closely with our patient/clients and their healthcare teams to provide the best therapeutic support to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate oxygen therapy, CPAP therapy, and assess respiratory health on an on-going basis.
  • Educate clients on their condition and their prescribed therapy, obtaining informed consent to initiate therapy.
  • Protect clients and employees by adhering to safety and infection control policies and protocols.
  • Contribute to the growth of Northern Respiratory Centre Inc. by liaising with medical professionals, providing demonstrations/education of products and services to prospective clients and referral sources.
  • Provide on-call services for our oxygen clients in rotation with our other staff members.
  • Requirements:
    • A Registered Respiratory Therapist with current registration in good standing with their college.
    • Proof of License to practice with the provincial governing body (CRTO, CNO).
    • Proof of a valid Driver's License.
    • Previous Customer Service experience is an asset, with a minimum of 1+ years related healthcare experience.
    • Fluency in English required (reading, writing, and oral), bilingualism is considered an asset.
    • Current Basic Rescuer CPR and First Aid Training is considered an asset.
    • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, or similar accounting software & experience with CRM/EMR system.
