Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at On The Level. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
- Construction and Renovation: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Hardware Installation: Install doors, windows, and other hardware to ensure seamless functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Compliance and Safety: Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Certificate and License Management: Possess and maintain relevant certificates, such as the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Transportation and Travel: Own and maintain a vehicle, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time Management and Multitasking: Manage time effectively and multitask to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a 35-40 hour workweek. The primary language of work is English.
