Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at HIMCAN CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality carpentry products.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accurate building locations and levels.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, providing accurate and detailed reports.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Bondable and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads and ability to work in a variety of settings.
- Excellent communication and client-focused skills, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and punctuality.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, offices, and other locations as needed.
