About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at SKY CONTRACTING INC. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Skills: Operate computer-aided design (CADD) software and other technical tools to create detailed plans and specifications for construction projects.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test construction materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior carpenters and other construction staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Language: English.
