Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
- Construction and Renovation: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Hardware Installation: Install door, window, and other hardware to ensure seamless functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Compliance and Safety: Review HR directives to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Transportation and Travel: Own transportation and possess a valid driver's licence, with a clean driver's abstract.
- Physical Demands: Be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and handling heavy loads.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work Schedule: Work on a permanent basis, with a typical workweek consisting of 35-40 hours.
- Language: Work in English, with opportunities to work with diverse clients and projects.
