The Role Overview:

As a Territory Sales Executive , you will be an integral member of the Ontario Commercial team, reporting to one of our District Sales Managers. This position is focused on all retail clients within the designated territory, which includes various retail outlets.

The ideal candidate for the Territory Sales Executive role will possess exceptional communication and leadership abilities, a strong drive for success, and a genuine passion for quality beverages. You will gain insights into multiple facets of merchandising, sales, and operations while representing some of Canada’s most beloved brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key customers, business partners, industry associations, government entities, and suppliers through a First Choice lens.
  • Ensure outstanding execution by fostering rapport and supporting product standards.
  • Negotiate for space, placement, and effective pricing strategies for our products.
  • Install, replace, and update point-of-sale materials in accordance with brand strategy.
  • Ensure full distribution of Molson products based on compliance with store and head office standards.
  • Conduct audits of planograms to ensure compliance with head office guidelines.
  • Ensure effective merchandising, rotation, and date code checks of products.
  • Collaborate with operators to communicate pricing effectively and ensure adherence to strategy.
  • Monitor and document competitive activities and report findings accordingly.
  • Maintain product quality in assigned accounts, addressing issues such as out-of-code products and damaged packaging.
  • Manage the shipping, receiving, and placement of all point-of-sale materials from the Molson Coors warehouse.

  • A post-secondary degree is preferred, ideally in Marketing or Business.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in merchandising or sales within the Molson organization or other consumer packaged goods companies is preferred.
  • A valid provincial driver's license in good standing with no limitations or restrictions is required.
  • Candidates will be required to consent to a criminal background check and provide a driver's abstract as part of the recruitment process.
