Position Overview:

We are currently seeking dedicated Registered Occupational Therapists to join our esteemed team at Lifemark Health Corp. This role involves providing essential occupational therapy services to adults within the community, allowing for a flexible work schedule tailored to your preferred caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ministry-funded, community-based occupational therapy services at clients' residences.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including interviews and standardized techniques, focusing on areas such as home safety and mobility.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies in collaboration with clients and their caregivers.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and caregivers, linking them to community services as needed.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to assessments, care plans, and progress reports in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (mandatory).
  • Experience in community settings is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within an inter-professional team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage self-scheduling and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Reliable transportation is essential for this role.
