Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Oshawa team. The successful candidate will work with clients to empower and support them through their recovery, applying their hands-on knowledge, skills, and abilities in the treatment of orthopedic disorders, chronic pain, and rehabilitation and return to work of injured workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to clients with work-related injuries, including treatment of orthopedic disorders, chronic pain, and rehabilitation and return to work
  • Work collaboratively with clients, treatment teams, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support clients in their recovery and return to work
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the treatment of clients/patients with work-related injuries and/or experience in the third-party healthcare system
  • Strong FAE and Return to Work planning skills
  • WorkWell certification preferred
  • Experience with report writing and hand therapy
