Job Title: Asset Management Director

Medicine Hat YMCA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our Association Services department, you will be responsible for leading our philanthropy efforts and developing strategic partnerships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet our annual goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing donors, corporations, and community partners
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants and sponsorships
  • Collaborate with our Communication and Marketing team to promote our fundraising efforts and events
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of donations, receipts, and acknowledgments
  • Ensure compliance with CRA regulations and YMCA policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with business use insurance and a minimum of $2,000,000 in liability coverage
  • Extroverted personality and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Knowledge of fundraising techniques and ethical considerations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, fixed-term contract position, working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to travel to other YMCA facilities or meeting locations as needed.

Shared office space is located on the main floor, and the position requires sitting/standing at a desk and using a computer for most of the day.
