Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Solid Industries & Machine Shop Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth flow of information and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Manage and distribute mail, packages, and other materials, maintaining a well-organized workspace.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, maintaining accurate records.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless coordination with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure a well-stocked workspace.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring easy access to critical documents.
  • Perform data entry, accurately and efficiently capturing information.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Permanent employment, working 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
