Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Building Quality Assurance team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Building Quality Assurance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Work closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide expert advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Perform drawing reviews and field inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare and review reports to communicate the results of reviews to clients.
- Testing: Conduct on-site testing to validate the performance of building enclosures.
- Business Development: Identify targets and meet new potential clients in support of our business development.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned within the Building Group.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Science, or Architectural Science.
- Experience: Up to 5 years of experience in residential/commercial/industrial construction and/or building assessments.
- Designation: Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Building Science Specialist (BSS) designation or working towards obtaining would be considered an asset.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a growing organization, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- License: A valid G driver's license, access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance to travel.
