Quality Assurance and Safety Coordinator

AECOM Canada Remediation is seeking a Quality Assurance and Safety Coordinator for a Casual role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of current operational processes, implementing sustainable and measurable improvements.
- Make informed decisions and solve problems in alignment with established policies, procedures, and safety protocols, while receiving support from senior management.
- Offer technical support and guidance to team members, colleagues, and clients.
- Develop and execute field investigation strategies, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Oversee and assist with various tasks to support engineering teams.
- Tasks may include aiding in engineering calculations, setting up and managing equipment, inspecting installations for compliance, and maintaining project documentation.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of procedures and company policies to meet objectives and deadlines, demonstrating competence across all areas.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience and education.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a CET is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in high-profile projects, such as MTO highway projects.
- Strong dedication to safety in the field.
