Deli Assistant Department Manager - Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Assistant Department Manager - Full Time who has a strong passion for culinary excellence and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager of the Deli Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Deli Manager to ensure seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspire and guide Team Members to achieve their best performance.
  2. Facilitate regular team meetings to foster communication and collaboration.
  3. Train and develop Team Members to uphold the highest standards of efficiency.
  4. Address and resolve Team Member and customer concerns effectively.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and loss prevention strategies.
  6. Oversee merchandising, inventory management, and scheduling to meet financial targets.
  7. Deliver outstanding customer service to Team Members, Customers, and Vendors alike.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 1 year of experience in a deli department with comprehensive product knowledge.
  2. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  3. Proven leadership abilities to coach and motivate in a fast-paced setting.
  4. Strong computer proficiency and a quick learner of new systems.
  5. Proactive approach to problem-solving with a sense of urgency.
  6. Excellent communication and listening skills.
  7. Creative skills to design appealing product displays.
  8. Ability to exemplify and inspire behaviors aligned with our core values.
  9. Work is conducted in a retail environment.
  10. Availability to work during days, evenings, and weekends.
  11. Willingness to travel for off-site events.
