Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our retail establishment. This role is essential in ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Work Environment

The work environment is typically air-conditioned and fast-paced, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks to sales associates and ensure their duties are performed effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise as needed.
  • Authorize returns and exchanges of products.
  • Create and maintain employee work schedules.
  • Engage with customers to promote and sell products.
  • Compile reports on sales performance, inventory management, and staffing issues.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.
  • Handle cash transactions and ensure financial accuracy.
Supervision

This position involves supervising a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Physical Requirements

Candidates should be prepared for a variety of physical tasks, including:

  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Walking and moving throughout the store

Additional Information

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
