POSITION SUMMARY:

Hankook Tire America Corp. is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Operations Assistant to enhance our dynamic Inside Sales team.

The Sales Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in managing daily sales operations to ensure that customer orders are processed with precision and efficiency, collaborating closely with the Logistics Team. Key responsibilities include accurate order processing, coordinating delivery schedules with customers, informing Logistics of delivery windows, and managing back orders effectively.

This position reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize SAP for creating Sales Orders, Delivery Orders, and Shipment Notifications.
  • Provide customers with confirmations on received orders and estimated delivery times for back orders.
  • Communicate with Logistics regarding the appropriate Delivery Orders and Shipments created in SAP.
  • Coordinate with customers to establish available reception dates and times with the Logistics Team.
  • Monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely fulfillment of back orders for customers.
  • Engage daily with sales, logistics, and customers to address and resolve issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and files while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Order Management, Customer Service, Sales, or a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of warehousing, distribution, and domestic transportation is essential.
  • Exceptional skills in customer support and issue resolution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
