Culinary Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BRIYANI BAR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Inventory and Requisitioning
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operations and Administration
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Stand for extended periods and be physically demanding.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Personal Qualities
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
