Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2654125 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily food preparation and service operations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train and develop staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that they are presented to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
