Assistant Manager, Membership Services

At the Shaw Festival Theatre, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our Membership Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Membership Services Manager and contributing to the growth and development of our membership program.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Membership Services Manager in the development and implementation of membership strategies and initiatives.
- Lead the Membership Services team as needed, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of membership programs and services.
- Communicate with members and donors to build relationships and promote the benefits of membership.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of reports and analytics to track membership metrics and fundraising goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and donors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Audience Services and Box Office, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Participate in membership events, including hosting post-show chats and other select events, to promote revenue targets and patron interaction goals.
- Experience in customer service and supervisory skills, with a proven track record of success in a membership or fundraising environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, donors, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Tessitura, with experience in tracking contacts, coordinating follow-up actions, and processing donations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and weekends.
