Data Governance Manager

Société Financière Manuvie is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our Global Data Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the growth and expansion of our data governance function.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy Data Governance Agenda: Collaborate with stakeholders to accelerate trust and utilization of data across the organization.
- Refine Global Data Quality Framework: Develop playbooks, accelerators, and training programs to drive adoption of the framework.
- Support Data Governance Leaders: Improve data literacy and familiarity with data governance and data quality practices among leaders.
- Engage with Partners: Guide partners in identifying critical data elements and setting up metrics linking data quality to business value.
- Conduct Data Analysis: Address high-priority data quality issues from issue identification through root cause analysis to issue resolution.
- Implement Data Governance Metrics: Develop and implement global data governance metrics and oversight mechanisms to ensure delivery of target outcomes.
- Adopt Data Quality Technology: Support adoption of data quality technology in the Azure Cloud environment and on-prem applications.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Serve as a liaison between the Global Data Governance team and Segment Data offices, Data Owners, and Control Partners.
- Drive Innovation: Apply creative thinking and contribute to innovation in data governance practices at Société Financière Manuvie.
