Counsellor FSEAP

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team at Family Services of Greater Vancouver. As a Counsellor, you will provide short-term, solution-focused counselling services to individuals, couples, families, and children in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical counselling services to clients with a wide range of concerns, including mental health issues, relationship difficulties, and family conflicts.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, or Clinical Psychology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing counselling services in a clinical setting.
- Current registration with a regulatory body, such as the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) or the British Columbia Association of Social Workers (BCASW).
- Excellent clinical skills, including knowledge of mental health issues, short-term solution-focused treatment approaches, and case management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
