Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Counsellor to join our FSEAP Affiliate team. As a Clinical Counsellor, you will provide short-term counselling services to employees and their family members, utilizing a brief treatment, solution-focused clinical framework.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, crisis intervention, and short-term counselling services to clients
- Collaborate with clients to develop SMART goals and service plans
- Refer clients to community resources for specialized or intensive services
- Maintain clinical records and documentation via an online portal
- Ensure adherence to FSEAP Counselling and EAP Program Protocols and standards
- Master's degree in a clinical discipline
- Professional registration with a provincial registering body (e.g., RCC, RSW, CCC, RPsych, etc.)
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience or 2500 hours of clinical experience
- Experience working with diverse populations, including Indigenous, 2SLGBTQ+, and First Responders
- Training and experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and CIR/CISM
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
