Position Overview

Join Brimich Logistics & Packaging Inc. as a Supply Chain Operations Supervisor. This permanent role offers a dynamic work environment where you will oversee and enhance our logistics operations.

  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and process orders and directives from clients.
  • Organize tasks effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the logistical operations within the organization.
  • Track and finalize work orders accurately.
  • Coordinate activities across various departments.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy of time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
  • Maintain comprehensive work records and logs.
  • Monitor staff workloads and their locations.
  • Organize and manage warehouse and workspaces.
  • Handle general office responsibilities.
  • Resolve operational issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements for productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams.
  • Compile specifications and worksheets for orders.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports and other documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Train employees on duties and company policies.
  • Arrange training sessions for staff development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review tasks.
  • Follow up on work order issues.
  • Possess knowledge of cross-border dispatch regulations and practices.
  • Organize and oversee inventory management.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in monitoring and tracking software.
  • Experience with electronic scheduling tools.
  • Skilled in spreadsheet applications.
  • Familiarity with MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
Industry Experience

Experience in the shipping line industry is preferred.
