Job Overview:
Role Summary:
This position acts as a strategic partner to implement and maintain the TreeHouse Management Operating Structure (TMOS). You will lead initiatives to assess supply chain processes and related areas by applying advanced continuous improvement methodologies to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, financial performance, and overall operations. Responsibilities may include collaborating with management to prioritize project initiation, establishing project objectives, facilitating teams, and overseeing the implementation and tracking of project outcomes.
- Participate in the site leadership team to enhance organizational capability in identifying and eliminating losses and waste.
- Monitor and support key performance indicators (KPIs) for overall supply chain effectiveness and process efficiency. Coach KPI owners in conducting gap analyses, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring closure of identified gaps.
- Guide KPI owners through the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) process, ensuring completion of gap analyses and sustained results.
- Lead a portfolio of projects and teams in the evaluation and analysis of significant supply chain processes to ensure optimal operations.
- Identify supply chain process requirements, improvement opportunities, and best practices, ensuring alignment with the TreeHouse Management Operating Structure.
- Utilize site data to prioritize initiatives, define project requirements, and allocate resources effectively.
- Promote consistent and effective use of tools, facilitate communication across teams, and ensure the seamless application of company best practices and standards.
- Assist in training and coaching team members to build organizational self-sufficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Strong situational leadership skills to influence all levels within the organization.
- The ability to build effective relationships with Operations leaders to drive change.
- A high level of credibility and influence among hourly associates.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess needs and identify improvement opportunities.
- The capability to design and implement improvement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Expertise in supply chain processes and a vision for continuous improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively represent continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in plant-based manufacturing, with previous project management and continuous improvement training.
