About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Superintendent to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Crew Management: Lead and manage construction crews, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and resolve project-related issues, making informed decisions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent or equivalent role, with a strong background in civil construction or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II, and Leadership for Safety Excellence.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
