We are on the lookout for a Project Coordinator (Facilities) to become a vital part of our team in Edmonton. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to guarantee the effective implementation of project strategies. The preferred candidate will possess a background in engineering or construction management, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience in project coordination within the construction field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing general assistance for facilities maintenance services and capital initiatives
- Supporting pre-construction planning processes
- Working in conjunction with Project Manager and Superintendent throughout the construction phase
- Overseeing subcontractor relationships and conducting performance assessments
- Finalizing post-construction activities, including project closure
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management
- Prior hands-on experience in a project coordinator role
- Familiarity with facilities systems is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
