About the Role

MNP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Scientific Research and Development (SR&ED) team. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to identify and capitalize on opportunities to receive government support for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in identifying, preparing, and claiming projects under the SR&ED Tax Credit program
  • Stay up-to-date on industry advances within engineering, manufacturing, and other areas of technical innovation
  • Develop and deliver reports to provide an overview of client development projects and how the SR&ED criteria is being met
  • Manage multiple assignments and deliver results on time and on budget
  • Interact with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and provincial tax authority representatives, as well as other funding and investment community members
  • Network and market MNP SR&ED services to existing and prospective clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial)
  • 5+ years of progressive industry work experience in engineering and exposure to current development technologies and environments
  • 2+ years of experience with Canada's SR&ED tax credit program (preferred)
  • Bilingual French/English written and verbal skills (strong asset)
  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity/desire for continuous learning
  • Project management experience working with engineers and/or scientists (asset)
  • Business development skills and/or willingness to be mentored (asset)
