Associate Scientist Analytical Chemistry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize analytical and preparative chromatographic methods using SFC-MS and HPLC-MS
  • Monitor and maintain HPLC and SFC systems performance, ensuring optimal results
  • Troubleshoot and repair HPLC-MS and SFC-MS systems, minimizing downtime
  • Prepare analysis reports and support the Medicinal Chemistry Group in their research endeavors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
  • Experience in HPLC and SFC chromatography, as well as mass spectrometry, is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory settings and ability to communicate effectively in English and French
  • Familiarity with MassLynx and Empower software is a plus
  • Experience with maintenance and repair of HPLC and SFC systems is an asset
