Benefits Consultant

As a key member of our team, you will provide expert consulting services to medium and large clients, managing projects and collaborating with colleagues to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability, and special risk benefits for clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to support client retention and identify group insurance risks.
- Be accountable for the smooth transition of benefits to new carriers, ensuring client risk and exposure are mitigated.
- Manage the quality and timeliness of client deliverables and develop annual client plans.
- Mentor analysts/technical staff and peer review work.
- Assist on specific projects, initiatives, and research, and support new business/sales initiatives.
- Continuing education to maintain a high level of knowledge of employee benefit legislation, administrative issues, plan rules, claim management, and client-specific procedures.
- Represent People Corporation in the market and be a successful brand ambassador.
- Maintain an expert knowledge of the complete line of People Corporation products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, shared services, practice areas, etc.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' progressive experience in group benefits in a client-facing or consulting capacity.
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills.
- Completion of or the ability to complete the Life License Qualification Program (within 90 days of joining).
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
