Key Responsibilities:
- Check-in and check-out guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are met, including delivering items to guest rooms and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain room security by controlling access and ensuring confidentiality.
- Record and manage guest requests, including special accommodations and packages.
- Follow shift checklists to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage daily transactions and float responsibilities.
- Assist with cleaning duties to maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to and anticipating guest needs.
- Maintain the guest business centre area, including stocking supplies and assisting guests with computer inquiries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a full-service hotel or hospitality environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of the local area and surrounding attractions.
- Working knowledge of reservations systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
