Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our Regina branch and lead our Secured Transport team within our Cash Services Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage the work of your team to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize resources.
  • Develop and monitor adherence to the branch budget, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as GardaWorld procedures and standards.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the management team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Maintain a high level of customer care and ensure staff adhere to company standards.
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship between management and the union.
  • Work collaboratively with HR to manage disciplinary matters, including dismissals, grievances, and health and safety issues.
  • Conduct investigations into transportation accidents and improve safety procedures.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years' experience in management of unionized employees or equivalent.
  • Transportation/logistics services industry experience, preferably in cash or courier services.
  • Knowledge of best practices in health and safety in a unionized work environment.
  • Knowledge of WSBC reporting and claim management processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Hold a valid restricted PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence), an asset.
  • Proven Operations experience in a senior management capacity.
  • Excellent union relationship management experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly customer-service and results-oriented.
  • Ability to manage the implementation of strategic objectives.
  • High degree of integrity and trustworthiness.
