We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Regina branch and oversee the Secured Transport team within our Cash Services Division.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and manage the work of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize resources.
- Develop and monitor adherence to the branch budget, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as GardaWorld procedures and standards.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the management team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
- Maintain a high level of customer care and ensure staff adhere to company standards.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship between management and the union.
- Work with HR to apply corporate policies and manage disciplinary matters, including dismissals and grievances.
- Conduct investigations into transportation accidents and improve safety procedures.
- 5-8 years' experience in management of unionized employees or equivalent.
- Transportation/logistics services industry experience, preferably in cash or courier services.
- Knowledge of best practices in health and safety in a unionized work environment.
- Knowledge of WSBC reporting and claim management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Hold a valid restricted PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence), an asset.
- Proven Operations experience in a senior management capacity.
- Excellent union relationship management experience.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly customer-service and results-oriented.
- Ability to manage the implementation of strategic objectives.
- High degree of integrity and trustworthiness.
