Primary Objective:

The Branch Operations Leader is accountable for steering the branch towards achieving its operational, sales, and service objectives while fostering a supportive environment for team development and growth. This role oversees a branch with significant sales volume.

Key Responsibilities:

- Directs a team and possesses the authority to recruit and evaluate team performance.
- Oversees a team of more than 6 direct reports (FTE)
Leadership and Strategy

  • Provides strategic direction and leadership to branch personnel.
  • Effectively communicates and executes a comprehensive business strategy to facilitate change management.
  • Makes data-driven decisions to align with business objectives.
  • Guides the team to become the preferred choice for essential products and services, enhancing customer interactions.
  • Establishes robust internal and external partnerships to drive success and integrate company strategies.
  • Assesses risks while maintaining a balance between service quality, costs, ethics, and integrity.
  • Designs and implements a sales and marketing strategy aimed at boosting market share.
  • Cultivates a culture focused on sales and customer service excellence within the branch.
  • Reports on business performance during quarterly reviews.

Operational Management

  • Responsible for executing the branch network strategy.
  • Leads the understanding and monitoring of key performance indicators for service excellence.
  • Balances operational costs with high service levels while striving to enhance processes.
  • Implements effective recruitment strategies to meet business needs.
  • Monitors profit and loss reports to meet sales and expense targets.
  • Commits to operational excellence by adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Represents CB Canada with pride, ensuring commitment to service.
  • Manages inventory effectively within the branch.
  • Ensures a safe environment for all team members and customers.
  • Maintains the branch and surrounding areas to high standards.
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations and applicable laws.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the products offered.
  • Ensures adherence to provincial regulations and operational practices.

Team Development

  • Creates an engaging work environment where team members are skilled, motivated, and aligned with the company's goals.
  • Welcomes diverse ideas and perspectives.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and sets clear expectations.
  • Supports the professional growth of team members through available resources.
