About the Role:

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our Regina branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work of your team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously review and optimize branch operations to improve profitability, customer service, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and monitor adherence to the branch budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as GardaWorld procedures and standards.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the management team, setting clear objectives, communicating openly, and monitoring performance.
  • Maintain a high level of customer care, ensuring staff meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship between management and the union.
  • Work collaboratively with HR to apply corporate policies, manage disciplinary matters, and communicate changes to staff.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information entered into the Branch System database.
  • Conduct investigations into transportation accidents and improve safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years' experience in management of unionized employees or equivalent.
  • Transportation/logistics services industry experience (cash, courier services, etc.).
  • Knowledge of best practices in health and safety in a unionized work environment.
  • Knowledge of WSBC reporting and claim management processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's licence with a good driving record.
  • Hold a valid restricted PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence), an asset.
  • Proven Operations experience in a senior management capacity.
  • Excellent union relationship management experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly customer-service and results-oriented.
  • Ability to manage the implementation of strategic objectives.
  • High degree of integrity, trustworthy.
