Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Director to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote our products, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that aligns with company goals and drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, maintaining the integrity of the brand and enhancing its market position.
  • Campaign Development: Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
  • Product Marketing: Work closely with the sales and product teams to develop marketing strategies for new and existing products, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing. Utilize data analytics to optimize campaigns and improve performance.
  • Content Strategy and Creation: Develop and manage a content strategy that includes creating high-quality, engaging content such as blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, and social media posts. Ensure content is tailored to target audiences and aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Content Distribution: Oversee the distribution of content across various platforms, including the company website, social media channels, and third-party sites, to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure a steady flow of relevant and timely content that supports marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Partnerships and Sponsorships: Identify and develop partnerships with relevant organizations, athletes, and influencers to promote our brand and products.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate marketing events, including trade shows, product launches, and sponsorships, to maximize brand exposure.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to make informed decisions and adjustments.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the sporting goods industry or related sectors.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in brand management, product marketing, and content creation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sporting goods market.
