The Digital Multi-Channel Marketing Director will play a crucial role within the Marketing division, overseeing the success of Norwell Inc.'s digital presence, particularly in e-commerce initiatives, and driving the expansion of the consumer healthcare portfolio within the Canadian digital landscape. This role involves defining the strategic digital roadmap and collaborating with the brand team to develop high-quality digital initiatives that adhere to industry best practices to maximize business outcomes. The selected candidate will report directly to the Marketing Director and work closely with various stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • E-Commerce Leadership: Oversee the management of the Amazon sales account and external partnerships to enhance growth on e-commerce platforms. This includes responsibility for budgeting, optimization, product listings, service, and account management. Identify and develop direct e-commerce opportunities beyond Amazon, coordinating efforts across multiple internal and external business units.
  • Strategic Digital Planning: Spearhead the creation of an integrated strategic digital plan for Norwell in partnership with the brand manager. Formulate a comprehensive digital strategy informed by market dynamics and consumer insights, with the agility to adapt trends to align with business objectives. Set a visionary approach and actively seek innovative methods to enhance the digital landscape. Collaborate with brand teams to design and implement digital campaigns that support sales KPIs and contribute to the overarching social media strategy across various platforms.
  • Execution of Digital Plans: Direct the implementation of the digital marketing mix in conjunction with the brand team. This encompasses content prioritization and optimization (personalization, content, channel) across all stakeholders and consumer journeys, executing strategic multi-channel marketing solutions. Collaborate with internal and external technology and marketing teams to effectively launch required campaigns, including email marketing and website optimization, while supporting community management functions with our agency partners. Maintain a marketing calendar that includes suggestions for marketing channels and cost proposals.
  • Digital Market Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge of digital market trends, consumer behaviors, and the e-commerce environment. Conduct proactive market reviews, competitive analyses, and market research to extract key insights. Develop and implement action plans based on these insights to optimize the efficiency of our digital investments across multi-channel initiatives.
  • Healthcare Professional Digital Market Leadership: Oversee the strategy and execution of key growth enablers for Norwell in the healthcare professional audience. Lead the strategic planning and execution of onboarding and activation programs, user marketing, and communications in collaboration with brand managers. Cultivate and expand opportunities for HCP digital marketing across all brands, managing partnerships with agencies focused on HCP traffic.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the brand team to oversee the allocation of digital resources, ensuring a positive return on investment for brand initiatives. Monitor monthly budget KPIs to guarantee that plans are executed within the approved budget.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Establish and manage a digital dashboard to track performance. Continuously benchmark systems and platforms to ensure optimal productivity levels across alternative channels, monitoring historical program trends and channel performance (both owned and paid media).
  • Management of External Stakeholders: Identify key strategic digital agencies and service providers, optimizing collaboration and maintaining robust relationships.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing or a related field.

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce within the Consumer Packaged Goods sector, including experience in Consumer Healthcare.
