Job Title: Cook

OCEAN PALATE HAMILTON is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service and high-quality food
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
Work Environment:

OCEAN PALATE HAMILTON is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will be working in a kitchen setting with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
