Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Canada Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other departments.
Working Conditions:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a team environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Executive Chef will work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
