AutoCanada is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Okanagan Chrysler. As a key member of our service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Job Summary:

The Service Advisor is responsible for acting as the liaison between our Automotive Service Technicians and customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide personalized recommendations for maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and confirm appointments with customers to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
  • Determine vehicle needs through customer information, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
  • Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in planning for ongoing maintenance and repairs.
  • Produce repair orders with transparent cost and time estimates.
  • Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Gain superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and retention.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
