About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert financial advice and guidance to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and advice to clients, including investment strategies and wealth management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored advice and solutions.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of financial services and products to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and maintain a deep understanding of financial products and services.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new business opportunities and growing the client base.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, with a strong background in financial planning and wealth management.
  • University degree in business, commerce, or financial planning, and hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • IIROC licensed as a Registered Representative (IIROC-RR), including completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), and 90-day training.
  • Life License (LLQP) and a willingness to complete other regulatory requirements.
