Kitchen Manager

First Sight Coffee & Bar is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain efficient kitchen workflows to meet production schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise and train kitchen staff.
