Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Halifax Tower Hotel / Comfort Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
- Chef Supervision: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality dishes and exceptional service.
- Inventory Management: Manage our kitchen inventory to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our menu demands.
- Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to ensure that they are working together effectively to deliver exceptional results.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and working under pressure.
