Shift Operations Manager

Job Summary:
As a Shift Operations Manager at Rain Carbon, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production team. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel to ensure efficient and safe operation of the plant.
- Process payroll and vacation documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the production planning team to create and implement production process orders in SAP.
- Monitor and control raw materials inventory, reordering as necessary to meet production demands.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and lead discussions on best practices and safety protocols.
- Train and develop production personnel to improve their skills and performance.
- Monitor equipment operation and maintenance, prioritizing repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Investigate and resolve product quality nonconformances, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a chemical processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems, including SAP.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
