Key Responsibilities
The Deputy BIM Manager plays a crucial role in leading BIM processes under the supervision of the BIM Manager, coordinating with engineers and technicians in the execution of BIM projects. This position involves establishing standards and procedures for BIM model development, ensuring the models and their data are compliant and compatible.
Specific Duties Include:
- Collaborate with the BIM Manager to oversee the application of BIM processes within multidisciplinary projects and contribute to their enhancement.
- Facilitate the creation of BIM models, ensuring effective coordination with technicians and engineers.
- Assist in the multidisciplinary coordination of models.
- Monitor, integrate, and coordinate project designs and construction sequencing.
- Support the development of BIM software and address any arising issues.
- Ensure data compatibility and consistency within BIM models, making it accessible to all project stakeholders.
- Encourage the advancement of BIM capabilities within the organization and maintain an up-to-date BIM project development manual.
- Work alongside the design team to ensure cohesive design integration across projects and disciplines.
- Generate models/drawings as needed from existing data or create data in line with project specifications.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Education: A degree in a relevant field such as Architecture, Technology, or Construction Management.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in BIM design and implementation within a BIM work environment.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in delivering projects within an infrastructure or engineering context.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology for complex project delivery.
- Experience in managing design systems for project execution.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.

Compensation: To be determined based on qualifications.
