As an intern at PCL, you will engage in meaningful work assignments within a nurturing environment that encourages both personal and professional development.
We are in search of a Materials or Mechanical Engineering Intern for our Melloy Industrial Services Inc. division, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
Here’s how an Engineering Intern contributes to our team:
Key Responsibilities- Utilizing and maintaining PCL and external client systems to assist in project management.
- Organizing documentation and comprehending data management for retention and project turnover.
- Monitoring inventory levels for frequently ordered materials and supplies.
- Facilitating order expeditions.
- Carrying out administrative and physical tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory.
- Adhering to PCL safety protocols.
- Performing additional duties as required.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program at a post-secondary institution.
- A strong interest in working within a construction setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Capability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Flexibility in working hours is essential. The successful candidate must also provide their own CSA-approved steel-toed boots and pass a pre-access alcohol and drug test.
