Role Overview
In the capacity of a Sales Engineer for Instrumentation and Controls, you will serve as the primary liaison for both external clients and internal stakeholders. Your collaboration with Supply Management teams will be crucial in ensuring that customer specifications are fulfilled while managing operational and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical guidance and support to clients regarding product specifications and troubleshoot application issues.
- Comprehend customer needs to suggest suitable products and solutions.
- Input and oversee purchase orders, customer orders, and pricing details.
- Maintain comprehensive records of stock transactions, pricing catalogs, and client databases.
- Request price quotations from suppliers and relay quotes to clients.
- Respond swiftly to inquiries from clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and accurately maintain inventory records.
- Stay updated on current product pricing and modifications.
- Attend to additional tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of PVF products and strong analytical capabilities.
- A minimum of two years' experience in customer service, inside sales, or warehouse operations.
- Proficient in computer systems and software applications.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
