About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer & Quotations Specialist to join our team at Innomotics Inc. This individual will be responsible for developing quotations for drives and drive systems, as well as handling various tasks such as reporting, forecasting, quality management, contract review, and customer consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage quotations for VFDs and VFD systems for applications in all industries.
  • Review and understand customer standards, specifications, and requirements, as well as industry and regulatory standards.
  • Carry out proposal engineering and knowledge through a project life cycle to support the project execution team.
  • Support project commissioning activities and witness testing at various factory locations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support for various industrial applications.
  • Prepare multiple quotations simultaneously, accurately, and on time.
Requirements
  • Electrical or Electronics degree/diploma from an accredited university or technical institute.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial environments/applications, including Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Marine, and Mining.
  • Good working knowledge of automation, controls, protection, drive systems, power systems, motors, electrical integration, switchgear, and motor control.
  • Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of English.
  • Ability to understand and manage internal and external customers' expectations.
